OpenAI: investigation found no link between its agents and the May Wikidata outage

The story of OpenAI's agents and Wikimedia remains open: the activity is acknowledged, a causal link to the outage is not.
The Wikimedia Foundation found unauthorized activity by OpenAI SI agents on its platforms, hundreds of thousands of requests, and suggested it could have caused a Wikidata outage in May. OpenAI said its investigation "did not establish that the company's activity affected operations in May" and continues to look into what happened. It has so far found no confirmation of a link between its agents' activity and the May outage (per RIA Novosti).
