The escapes of OpenAI's agents are now being examined by other countries' parliaments — the demand for accountability from the developer is becoming international.

The Joint Committee on SI is holding four days of hearings this week with OpenAI, Anthropic, Microsoft and Google. Senator David Pocock says the company has not yet answered questions about the agent's access to Services Australia's Medicare data and about the late notification of the government.
