Yandex's cloud has regained its main functions after the data centers were damaged, but about a tenth of the data is still unavailable.
According to the company's statement, quoted by Interfax, Yandex Cloud has restored access to 90.47% of the data stored on the platform. Part of the data and related services has been moved to a new location that started operating on October 23; access to them will open in stages over the coming days. The platform's main capabilities are already available to clients, other services are being brought back, and the remaining data is being restored. From October 8 to 11, as Interfax writes, drone attacks damaged three Yandex data centers — in Sasovo in the Ryazan region, in Kaluga and in Vladimir; the centers in Sasovo and Vladimir were fully stopped, and in Kaluga several modules were put out of action. The outages affected Yandex's own services and other resources of the Russian internet.
