A second strike in two days on the computing infrastructure of one of Russia's leading SI companies: data centres are the foundation of any SI, and losing them hits services first.
According to Yandex (as relayed by Interfax), a drone attack damaged part of the infrastructure of its data centre in Kaluga: several modules are completely out of service, some services may run with interruptions, and there were no casualties. According to Interfax, the site in the Grabtsevo industrial park is designed for more than 3,800 server racks and 63 MW; the data centre in Sasovo was hit a day earlier, and Yandex has agreed with Selectel, K2Cloud and VK Cloud to move its clients' services faster. Kommersant reports that Yandex shares on the Moscow Exchange fell about 4% early in trading. Al Jazeera writes that, on the Ukrainian side, the strikes are presented as retaliation for attacks on Ukrainian data centres.
