Anthropic is preparing to sell shares not only to large funds but also to ordinary buyers, as SpaceX did.
According to Bloomberg on October 28 (as relayed by The Next Web), Anthropic may set aside 15–20% of shares for retail investors, with JPMorgan leading the U.S. retail portion. The Next Web compares this with SpaceX's roughly 20% allocation in June 2026. In The Next Web's account of the company's IPO documents, the valuation could approach $2 trillion, and the company puts the global knowledge-work market at more than $40 trillion.
