One of the leading SI labs is going public: its revenue, losses and compute commitments are now open to any investor.
Anthropic has published its Form S-1 prospectus: Class A shares are planned to list on Nasdaq under the ticker ANT, with Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley as lead banks in a group of 22; the company first filed confidentially in June. First-half 2026 revenue was $16.3 billion versus $1.16 billion a year earlier; second-quarter revenue was $11.6 billion, with the first operating profit ($974 million), and the half-year operating loss was $693 million. The net loss was $80.7 billion, of which $72.4 billion is an accounting revaluation of convertible notes rather than cash spent (per TNW). According to NBC, the company plans to spend at least $110 billion on Amazon's cloud through April 2036, $120 billion on SpaceX through 2029, $115 billion on Google and $45 billion on Microsoft through 2033. The seven co-founders control 50.1% of the votes, and the Long-Term Benefit Trust appoints most of the board (per TechCrunch). Timing and valuation come from media reports: per the WSJ (relayed by TNW and not verified by TNW itself), the listing could come the week of November 16 and raise $100 billion or more at a valuation of $1.5-2 trillion; per Fortune, the target is Thanksgiving week.
