Reuters: Anthropic is considering releasing a new model before its IPO to answer GPT-6 Astra, despite its own call to slow down

Even the chief advocate of slowing down cannot afford to fall behind, and competition keeps pulling the whole SI frontier forward.

According to three Reuters sources, Astra has been gaining popularity with enterprise customers since the start of the month, and investors have begun to doubt that Anthropic remains the leader in SI for business.
