Meta's Muse app is No. 1 on the App Store and Google Play: 3.4 million downloads and audience growth after Connect

An agent that buys things and writes emails on its own is gaining users faster than ChatGPT once did. People are ready to trust SI with actions, not just conversations.

According to Sensor Tower, Muse had 3.4 million downloads as of Thursday (Apptopia counted 4.3 million); in the first two weeks, downloads grew an average of 55% a day, compared with 24% for ChatGPT in its first 10 days. The app has been No. 1 in the US App Store since September 18 and on Google Play since the 19th. After the Connect conference, where Meta showed video chat with a Muse avatar, Mac control, a separate email address for the agent and glasses integration, daily audience rose 27%. Ads on Facebook and Instagram accounted for only 6% of impressions, so the growth is mostly organic.
