Muse got more than 83 thousand iOS downloads in the US and climbed to second place in the App Store, although on Google Play it is only 338th in the Productivity category. For comparison: Threads was downloaded 4.3 million times on its first day, and ChatGPT more than 500 thousand in its first week. The launch coincided with Meta's $18 billion global settlement of lawsuits over social media harms, which could have undermined trust.
