When training models on news content, Meta will have to account for judicial restrictions and publishers' rights in another major country.

According to Semafor, the court decision requires Meta to stop collecting content from Brazilian media outlets to train models. The restriction covers the use of local publishers' articles as training data and continues a series of Brazilian judicial measures against major technology platforms.
