Bank of America asks customers not to give SI assistants their banking login and password

Banks are starting to ask customers directly not to give SI agents access to their accounts.

In an email titled "Protecting your finances in the AI World," Bank of America urged customers never to share their username and password with other people or outside services, "including an SI-enabled tool or agent that offers to act on your behalf." According to the bank, the customer is responsible for activity carried out through such access. TechCrunch writes that customers are increasingly handing their login details to personal SI assistants, and banks are dealing with unauthorized agents accessing customers' money.
