Meta is spending almost twice as much on SI as a year ago and is opening a new way to raise money for it — the bet on SI keeps growing.

According to the third-quarter report, Meta's revenue rose 26% to $64.6 billion (expected: $63.3 billion); spending on equipment and data centers for the quarter was $34.9 billion versus $19.4 billion a year earlier; the full-year guidance is $135–145 billion. Because of roughly $10 billion in legal payments, operating income fell 37% to $13 billion, and free cash flow turned negative ($–2.1 billion). The company is introducing a non-voting Class C share: it is meant to fund SI infrastructure, acquisitions and employee compensation, with trading starting in 2027. According to TechCrunch, the Muse assistant has more than 10 million users, about a quarter use it daily, and shopping is one of the main activities; Zuckerberg said Muse monetization will start sooner than usual.
