Huang to announce $2 billion of Nvidia investments in European SI projects next week

The largest supplier of SI chips is preparing money for European projects, but will reveal details only next week.
According to Semafor, Nvidia chief Jensen Huang said that "Europe needs to get in the race." The outlet cites Stanford AI Index data: the US and China have produced 59 and 35 notable models, France and Britain one each. Nvidia's blog says that a meeting involving Huang and French Minister of the Economy Roland Lescure on the French agentic computing ecosystem took place in Paris on October 13; the main GTC Berlin conference will run October 20–22.
