SI that can find vulnerabilities is being put to work as a defender of power grids, factories and open-source code.
According to CyberScoop, Anthropic is pairing Claude models, its own engineers and threat research with 11 partners — Accenture, Booz Allen, CrowdStrike, Deloitte, Dragos, Hitachi, Insane Cyber, Nozomi Networks, Palo Alto Networks, PwC and Rockwell Automation — to defend critical infrastructure. Separately, it is launching a free opt-in service for open-source projects that sends regular vulnerability scans with an explanation of how each flaw can be exploited and advice on fixing it. According to CyberScoop, the company warns that findings not reviewed by specialists "may contain inaccuracies"; RIA Novosti, citing Axios, calls the service OSS Scanner.
