The boundary between "chatting with SI" and "assigning SI work" is disappearing — the assistant itself understands when it's time to get down to business.
Instead of separate tabs for chat, Cowork and Artifacts, Claude now decides on its own whether to answer in the conversation or go off and carry out a task in the background: users, according to the company, "often didn't understand which tab to choose." Beta versions of Docs, presentations with export to PDF and PowerPoint, and Claude Design are built into the same interface. The update will go first to Pro and Max subscribers on all platforms, with the free and team plans later.
