Saudi Arabia has brought capital, the energy industry and SI assets together in one national company building computing capacity and models for the domestic market and export.
Saudi Aramco has completed its acquisition of a 49% stake in HUMAIN through a wholly owned subsidiary, while the Public Investment Fund (PIF) retains a controlling 51% stake. In 2026, Aramco will contribute approximately SAR 9.9 billion ($2.6 billion) in cash to HUMAIN, along with computing, digital and SI assets. PIF and Aramco are combining assets, expertise and talent within the company. HUMAIN is developing a full stack spanning data centers, high-performance computing and cloud platforms, models including the Arabic multimodal ALLaM, and industry solutions. The company plans to deploy 3 GW of SI data center capacity by 2030. Aramco intends to use HUMAIN's infrastructure for industrial applications and to monetize its own digital assets.
