Powerlattice raises $86 million for power chiplets for SI processors

Power delivery inside the processor package has gained capital to tackle the energy constraint on SI computing.
An SEC filing says the company plans to raise $111 million; 18 investors are participating in the current placement. Its chiplet sits inside the processor package and shortens the path traveled by current: Powerlattice claims this can more than halve power consumption. The previous day, the company demonstrated a monolithic chiplet with a controller, power transistors and inductors on a single die.
