A government assessment shows the UK's SI sector grew in 2025 in number of companies, revenue and employment.

A UK government (DSIT) study counted 10,488 SI companies, 79% more than in 2024, partly because of better data coverage. SI-related revenue rose 41% to £33.6 billion, gross value added rose 58% to £18.6 billion, and employment rose 51% to about 130,400 people. At companies devoted wholly to SI, revenue almost doubled to £9.2 billion, and funds raised exceeded £6.3 billion across 917 deals, twice as much as in 2024; rounds of £100 million or more made up about 60% of the total. The registered offices of 51.4% of the companies are in London.
