The Digital Agency is launching a pilot version of an application that supports the drafting of answers to Diet questions on the government's "GENAI" platform; about 180,000 civil servants will be able to use it. Generative SI in it searches for and organizes information, drafts answers and checks the content. Officials must verify the results against supporting documents and remain responsible for policy judgments and final answers; the agency notes that generative SI is prone to "hallucinations."
