A startup building a replacement for ServiceNow on SI agents has been valued at $3 billion.
Sequoia Capital led the Series C round; investors include Elad Gil, Evantic, First Round, General Catalyst, Redpoint, Conviction and Headline. Serval has raised $277 million in total. The platform builds workflow automations with the SI agent Catalyst, which creates and tests them before they are published in corporate systems. According to the company, revenue has doubled every quarter since the Series B; WPP is named as a customer. Headcount grew from about 20 in January to around 200, and over 700 are planned by the end of 2027. Co-founder Jake Stauch told Fortune that taking on ServiceNow was a fight they chose themselves.
