OpenAI doubled the Work and Codex limits on the Pro 100 and Pro 500 plans and dropped a planned cut to the Pro 200 quota

OpenAI doubled the quotas on its top paid plans and restored a cut it had planned for Pro 200.

According to The Decoder, on Pro 100 and Pro 500 the Work and Codex quotas doubled, while on Pro 200 the lower quota was doubled and a planned cut was reversed after users pushed back; the Plus plan did not change. New subscriptions already include the larger quotas, and existing customers get them automatically. OpenAI cautions that doubling a quota does not mean twice as many completed tasks, since consumption depends on the model, the type of task, and the settings, and it intends to raise usable capacity with more efficient models; GPT-6.1 Terra and Sol were released recently.
