Oracle is widening the range of SI chips in its cloud with chips from Google, Cerebras and OpenAI and connecting ChatGPT to its business applications.

At the Oracle AI World conference the company announced it will offer Google TPU accelerators in its public cloud: according to SiliconANGLE, it is the first time Google supplies these chips to another hyperscale cloud, with deployment starting in 2027 and capacity growing gradually. According to CNBC, Oracle will also add Cerebras systems and OpenAI's Jalapeño inference accelerator. Oracle and OpenAI also announced integrations: the AI Workspace service will let ChatGPT carry out tasks in Oracle applications, App Composer will build apps with the help of SI assistants, and AI Security Mesh will look for vulnerabilities using OpenAI models. For small businesses the company is launching the Oracle AI SMB Bundle with $12,000 a year in cloud credits.
