SK hynix posts record quarterly revenue of 104.6 trillion won, operating profit of 83.3 trillion

Demand for SI data-center memory gave SK hynix a quarter with an 80% margin, and the company expects demand to outstrip supply through 2030.
According to the company's third-quarter report, SK hynix revenue topped 100 trillion won for the first time, reaching 104.6 trillion (+32% from the previous quarter). Operating profit was 83.3 trillion won (+38%, operating margin 80%) and net profit was 39.8 trillion won. The company attributes the result to growing demand for SI memory: server DDR5 sales in DRAM rose sharply and HBM4 shipments began in earnest. Cash rose to 114.5 trillion won and net cash to 98.7 trillion. SK hynix expects demand to exceed supply through 2030 and expects HBM4 to overtake HBM3E in shipments and revenue in the fourth quarter.
