State Duma deputy proposes separate charts for SI-made music and mandatory labeling by platforms

Dmitry Shatunov, a member of the State Duma committee on digital development and SI, wrote to Yandex Music and VK proposing that music platforms be required to label compositions created with the help of SI and to place them in separate charts and playlists (per TASS, citing the deputy's letters). In his words, it is increasingly hard for listeners to tell the work of real authors from neural-network content, which may hinder the promotion of beginner Russian musicians. He notes that some services are already introducing labeling, but uniform rules are needed.
