SI-made material has become mass-scale in Brazil's election campaign, and by the project's data the requirement to label it is often not met.

The VigIA project of the Lupa agency confirmed 1,423 political items created or altered by SI (95.8% of 1,486 analyzed) between August 16 and October 22, 2026. Of these, 794 were found on Instagram and 690 on Facebook, that is, mostly on Meta's networks; 716 (50.3%) are deepfakes or synthetic items containing deepfakes. About 768 items, by the project's estimate, lacked the SI label required by Brazilian electoral law. President Lula is depicted in 508 items, Senator Flávio Bolsonaro in about 247. By purpose: promotion — 786 (55.2%), attacks — 360 (25%), satire — 264 (18.5%), information — 31 (2.18%). The project's method is monitoring by staff, technical analysis and classification of items sent via WhatsApp, and daily searches of social networks.
