Courts in Russia are moving from pilots to a plan for general access to SI assistants; according to Krasnov, the decision stays with the judge.

Supreme Court Chairman Igor Krasnov named the directions: searching for and analysing precedents and the Supreme Court's legal positions, detecting contradictions and errors in court documents, and automating the recording of hearings. According to him, an SI result must be verifiable, while the assessment of evidence and the decision remain with the judge; the rollout comes with training for judges. In September Krasnov approved the Concept for Introducing SI into Judicial Activity. On October 22 he met China's justice minister to discuss exchanging experience.
