India's Army is building SI and drones into every soldier's training, but for now this is a training plan, not finished systems.

Land Warfare Doctrine 2026 was published after a three-day Army Commanders' Conference (October 21–23). The document provides for a three-level SI skills programme for officers, a "new philosophy" under which drone work becomes a secondary specialty across the entire army, and a five-year roadmap for training for multi-domain operations. Self-reliance, resilient logistics and operations under degraded communications are also stressed.
