Anthropic is entering European consulting together with an investor, but the companies have not confirmed the plans.
The Next Web, citing the Financial Times, reports that Anthropic and the London investment firm Hg are creating a joint venture — an independent European consultancy. Anthropic funds it from its own balance sheet, Hg through managed funds including HgCapital Trust. Consultants and engineers will work inside client companies, helping design SI-based products and support projects; the target sectors are software and white-collar work. Launch is expected by the end of 2026; Anthropic and Hg declined to comment. According to the outlet, the model repeats Anthropic's American scheme with Blackstone and Hellman & Friedman, where $1.5 billion was planned.
