The Browser Company shuts down the Arc browser on December 22 and moves users to the SI browser Dia

The company keeps one browser with SI instead of two products, and some former users are unhappy.

New user registrations for Arc stopped on October 22, and existing users are offered to move to another product from the company, the Dia browser. The developers explain the decision by the need to focus resources on supporting and securing a single product. In May 2025 Josh Miller publicly promised not to shut down Arc, and the decision caused discontent in user communities: they complain about missing familiar features in Dia (Habr).
