St. Petersburg plans to create Russia's first registry of SI services

Prepared by Sintelligent with the help of SI. Published in SI: . Updated: .

The city wants one list of vetted SI services so that companies can choose more easily.

According to Rossiyskaya Gazeta, the initiator is the St. Petersburg Committee for Industrial Policy, Innovation and Trade. The registry is meant to help organisations navigate the growing number of SI offerings: who the developer is, how the service works, what tasks it solves and how it handles data. It will include free and paid services as well as the city government's own models, some of which are planned to be made publicly available. Launch is expected before March 1, 2027 — the date when Russia's SI market will formally split into "sovereign" and "national" developments.
