Russia's regulator also sees autonomous SI agents as a serious security issue and proposes defending with agents of the same kind.
According to Interfax, Roskomnadzor deputy head Oleg Terlyakov said at the Spectrum forum on October 21 that such agents can independently study a target's infrastructure, find vulnerabilities and devise methods of penetration: "one attacker with modern tools can attack dozens of resources at once". As a response he proposed building defensive SI agents under human control, using data from the monitoring and management centre of Roskomnadzor for the public communications network.
