Nvidia unveils DSX POD: prefabricated containerised data centres that, it says, go live in 14 days instead of six months

If the promise holds, capacity for SI will appear in weeks rather than half a year; for now it is a plan for 2027.
DSX POD is a reference design for a modular SI data centre in containers, built on Vera Rubin systems. Partners including Dell, HPE, Lenovo and Schneider Electric install the computing, networking, cabling, power and liquid cooling at the factory; on site, only power, cooling and network connections remain. Nvidia claims deployment time falls from six months to 14 days, and says closed-loop cooling cuts water use "up to 100%" compared with conventional designs. The first shipments are planned for early 2027.
