ElevenLabs releases Eleven Realtime v1 Max and Mini, speech models for live conversations with SI agents

Voice assistants are getting closer to live conversation: they answer quickly and do not interrupt.
According to The Decoder, Max is aimed at complex tasks such as customer support and, by the company's claim, scores 98.8% accuracy on Big Bench Audio with a response time of 0.57 s; Mini is cheaper and can recognize when the other speaker finishes and insert acknowledgments such as "mm-hmm." The models are available on the ElevenAgents platform and through an API compatible with OpenAI Realtime. Pricing is per minute plus a token fee, with Max costing more than Mini. According to the company, the models rank high on the Artificial Analysis leaderboard for speed and accuracy.
