Demand for servers for SI is still outrunning plans, even at hardware makers.

According to Supermicro's preliminary figures, revenue for the first quarter of fiscal 2027 will be $18.5-19.5 billion, against earlier guidance of $14.5-15.5 billion, with a gross margin of 12.0-12.5% against the expected 10.4-10.8%. The company attributes the deviation to increased demand for SI platforms and to the mix of orders and products. The figures are unaudited and may change materially; full results are scheduled for November 3, 2026.
