State Department orders staff to switch to "Super Intelligence" (SI) wording in all official documents

The word "superintelligence" from the presidential order is entering agencies' everyday documents and becoming official language in the US.
According to Defense One, a cable dated Monday and addressed to the whole department requires staff to use "Super Intelligence" or "SI" in new letters, messages, websites, reports, speeches and policy documents; the names of governance bodies, systems, platforms, inventories and programs must also use SI in place of the previous term. The requirement exempts texts whose wording is set by law, legal citations, contracts and grants, and existing materials are to be changed during routine revisions. The cable implements the president's September 29 executive order on changing the term across federal agencies; as Defense One quotes it, the wording should reflect "the advancing capabilities and promise of American technology."
