The platform combines X10D drones, autonomous flight, tactical networking and mission-planning software. According to the outlet's description, it supports navigation where there is no GNSS signal, automatic target tracking and relaying intelligence into the US Army's Next Generation Command and Control (NGC2) system. Skydio says the solution reduces operator workload and lets a small unit keep an assigned objective under observation for longer.
