According to a report by the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) relayed by Interfax, North Korea conducted underwater tests of a new torpedo system in which SI is used for target detection and guidance. KCNA said the improved engines were developed over more than 180 tests across five years and that the tests were deemed successful. The article contains no reaction from other states.
