SI assistants gain levers to control an ordinary PC application; per 3DNews, it is turned off manually in the settings.

Nvidia App version 11.0.9.565 adds a local Model Context Protocol server: according to Nvidia, a compatible assistant (it names Hermes, OpenClaw and Perplexity) can see installed games, apply recommended settings and turn on ShadowPlay recording. According to 3DNews, the feature is enabled by default after the update, Nvidia's release notes do not explain why, the server listens on the local address 127.0.0.1 (port 13508) and can be switched off in the setting "Allow AI agents to control Nvidia App." 3DNews notes that when cloud assistants are used, some information may go to external servers.
