Another carmaker is betting on NVIDIA's platform for driverless driving, but there is no launch date.
The companies will jointly develop the next generation of driver assistance and automated driving systems based on Mercedes-Benz MB.OS and the NVIDIA platform: the Hyperion architecture, the Alpamayo software stack and the Halos safety system. The platform is designed for point-to-point urban assistance, active safety, automated parking and, in the future, Level 4 applications including robotaxis. The cooperation also covers engineering simulation and digital production at Mercedes-Benz.
