Accenture has paid only $29 a month per employee for Claude since October 1, with the rest charged to projects, 404 Media reports

Companies that taught clients to invest in SI are themselves starting to count token costs and cap them.

According to 404 Media, which saw an internal Accenture announcement, from October 1 the company centrally funds no more than $29 a month per person, and all Claude Enterprise costs are consumption-based: beyond the limit, employees must find a project or team to pay the rest. Premium plans include $250 of tokens a week, but not everyone has access to them. Some employees, the outlet reports, were spending up to $1,000 a month and are now trying to move to a premium plan; the announcement says access to Claude is "not guaranteed indefinitely" and is reviewed. 404 Media sees this as an example of companies capping spending on SI tools. Accenture's comment is not in the article; the information rests on a single outlet.
