Local SI agents now have a large open option that fits into an ordinary powerful graphics card, and it needs no cloud to work.

According to Nvidia's blog, Nemotron 3.5 Super VL is an open 120-billion-parameter multimodal model for agents; the company says it matches Nvidia's largest reasoning model in accuracy at about one-fifth the size and runs five times faster than the nearest open model in its class. Organizations can fine-tune it on their own data and run it on their own infrastructure. The Bolt 74B-A9B 24GB model is designed to run locally on RTX and DGX Spark: 2-bit quantization lets it fit in 24 GB; according to Nvidia, it is first among open models in its class on the PinchBench test and second on BrowseComp. Super VL and Bolt 74B-A9B are available now; the small Bolt E4B (4 GB) arrives October 23. All comparisons are Nvidia's own data.
