Voice SI assistants now answer in under a second and more cheaply, and in customer support they already resolve most calls themselves.

According to the company's blog (SpaceXSI), Grok Voice 3.0 is a speech-to-speech model with time to first audio under one second. In Artificial Analysis tests it ranks first on the Speech-to-Speech Index (86.9); on τ-Voice it scored 71.6% (GPT-Live-1 (Astra) shows 74.5% on the company's chart, but Grok's latency is 40% lower); task cost on Big Bench Audio is $0.025 against $0.030 for GPT-Live-1 and $0.055 for GPT-Realtime-2.1; on ServiceNow's EVA-Bench it scores 74%, the best accuracy. API price is $0.08 per minute, the same as Grok Voice 2.0. According to the company, the model handles millions of conversations a day in Tesla cars, and Starlink call centers use it for 20,000 calls a day, about 70% of which are resolved with no human involved. Some of the comparisons are the company's own data.
