SI tools for checking documents and analyzing maps of the planet are becoming available beyond Google's own researchers.
At its Research@ event Google Research announced the public launch of Deep Review, an agentic system for checking complex documents: first scientific papers, now also legal and financial documents, Google Docs and presentations. Over the past year the system gave private feedback to authors of more than 16,000 papers submitted to the STOC, ICML, NeurIPS and ICLR conferences. A technical report was also published on the Geospatial Reasoning agent in Earth AI: on four benchmarks, including two new sets, GeoKTools and GeoExpertQueries, specialized tools and planning gave an advantage over ordinary language models; experimental access is expanding through Ask Google Earth and an Agent-to-Agent service. The agent was tested by the WHO Regional Office for Africa, People in Need, GiveDirectly, the Milken Institute and WPP. All figures are Google's own data.
