Sber: SI model helped detect almost twice as many cancer cases in a medical checkup pilot covering 426,000 people

SI can suggest which people to examine first during checkups, but so far the figures come only from Sber.

According to Sber's press office (via TASS), the model, created by Sber's Center for Practical SI together with the Sber AI team, analyzes electronic medical records and estimates the probability that a malignant tumor will be detected within 12 months. In the Can-SAVE pilot during a medical checkup program involving more than 426,000 people, with the same number of people examined, the model helped detect 2,148 cases of malignant tumors versus 1,123 with the traditional approach. The results come from the bank itself.
