A Chinese manufacturer has named dates for its humanoid's market launch — but these are plans and deliveries have not started.
According to the timeline that chairman and CEO He Xiaopeng presented at the company's event in Paris on October 12 (as relayed by TechNode citing Humanoids Daily), mass production will start by the end of 2026, deliveries in the first half of 2027, and promotion in Europe in the second half of 2027. At first the robot will work in commercial spaces — stores and shopping malls — and later in factories and homes. A dedicated production line has been commissioned; at the demonstration an IRON unit completed automated assembly and walked off the line on its own. The robot supports multimodal interaction, face recognition and conversation memory, and speaks Chinese, English and German. All dates are company plans.
