Google Play will let people run personal apps built by SI from a description — only the author will see them

An ordinary person gets a way to make their own app without being a developer and without publishing it in a store.
Apps are built in Google AI Studio and installed from Play without being published in the catalog: they do not appear in search, only the creator has access, and Google Play policies still apply. At launch the feature is available to US users aged 18 and over, and such apps cannot be shared yet. Google plans to add sharing with a "network of trusted friends" and moving successful apps to the public catalog after a safety review. In the same announcement the company introduced Game Finder, which picks games based on preferences and data from 1.2 billion players, a community section and 48-hour gaming challenges.
