Apple's SI assistant is moving from the phone to the centre of the home, onto a screen, a speaker and a set-top box, but it will only start working at full strength later.
HomeView is a home display with a 7-inch screen on the A18 chip: two versions (tabletop and wall-mounted) at $299 each, pre-orders are open, on sale from November 13. HomePod mini 2 costs $149 (S10 chip, shipping from October 30) and will get Siri AI later through a software update; the Apple TV 4K on the A19 chip costs $299 and goes on sale November 13. Siri AI on Apple TV is still in beta in English in eight regions. According to Apple, requests are processed on the device or in Private Cloud Compute. Apple Home cameras get descriptions and notification summaries from Apple Intelligence.
