OpenAI to add 200 jobs in Dublin and open a second applied SI lab there

OpenAI is growing in Europe and hiring people who help companies deploy its models.

According to The Next Web, citing Bloomberg, OpenAI announced 200 new roles in Dublin, its European headquarters; 450 positions are planned in Ireland in total, and more than 120 people work there now. In July the company announced 250 roles and the lease of a building in the Docklands district, where it moves in December. The applied lab is a deployment unit, not a research one: engineers work with customers who build products on OpenAI's existing models; the Dublin lab is the second of its kind. The roles include deployment, solutions and privacy engineers, sales and user support. The announcement came two days before the International SI Summit in Ireland.
