Carmakers keep moving into humanoid robotics.

According to CarNewsChina, China's National Intellectual Property Administration published a BYD patent on October 9 for the design of an "embodied SI robot": a black-and-white anthropomorphic body with a rounded head without a screen, 1.61 m tall, weighing 58.5 kg, with 31 degrees of freedom. Its intended uses are services, education and industry. This is a patent filing, not an official product announcement: BYD has not confirmed whether the patented design will match the production version of the "Xiao Di" robot that the company previously teased on social media.
