Google releases Foresight, a meeting-notes app that works entirely offline

A useful SI assistant now runs right on the laptop, without sending conversations to the cloud.
According to TechCrunch, Google AI Edge Foresight records and transcribes meetings, makes notes and answers questions about them on the device using EmbeddingGemma 2 (740 million parameters) and an assistant built on Gemma 4. For now there is a Mac app for Apple chips; PDFs, Google and Office documents, text and bookmarks can be loaded into its knowledge base.
